The rancher in Centennial Wyoming was an old college buddy of my friend. While we were sitting in his living room he began to extol the merits of raising buffalo rather than cattle. They don't wander off, don't trip and break legs as cattle do, but you better stay away from them. Sometimes they can be aggressive. Since we were visiting to do a little dry fly trout fishing on his ranch, the stay away part got our interest. We did stay away but as I was in the stream they came up. I put my rod down and raised my camera which was loaded with Kodachrome. They didn't seem to mind, but I didn't push it. Centennial, Wyoming . Photo by Dennis Brack
